With us by your side, you’ll feel confident and empowered to advocate for yourself and your growing family.
What to Expect: We offer a two-session Birth Preparation Sessions (1 hour each), designed for you and an optional support partner, doula, or midwife. These sessions are available virtually or in person, tailored to prepare you for a confident and empowered delivery experience.
In birth prep at Pacer Physical Therapy we offer a dynamic, holistic approach to support your journey by:
- Providing Personalized Education: We guide you in decision-making, based on your specific needs, to help you feel informed and prepared.
- Teaching Individualized Manual Techniques: Learn gentle techniques to soften your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, reducing the risk of tearing and supporting optimal positioning for your baby.
- Strategizing for C-Section, VBAC, or Recovery: We’ll discuss strategies for those planning a scheduled C-section or VBAC, with guidance for smooth recovery.
- Conducting a Posture & Movement Assessment: Get a posture and movement screen so we can prescribe exercises tailored to you to increase pelvic mobility and openness, preparing your body for delivery.
- Demonstrating Birthing Positions: Explore and practice various birthing positions in detail, with the option to involve a support person for hands-on practice.
- Mental Mindset Coaching: Build a resilient mindset with practical coaching to approach labor calmly and confidently.
- Breathing Techniques for Pushing: Practice breathing techniques that support effective pushing, helping you work with your body during labor.
Our Birth Preparation Sessions are designed to empower and equip you with essential tools for a positive birth experience.
