Working with Jules was the best decision I made postpartum! She helped me achieve my goal of returning to run and set me up for success to train for a half marathon. Jules truly gets what it is like to be a tired, busy, working mom and makes training as easy as can be. I was having pain with running after my second birth, and after a few months of working with Jules I was completely pain free!

Her combination of postpartum, exercise and physical therapy expertise is truly unique. She is a gem and I HIGHLY recommend giving yourself the gift of working with her!

I first started doing PT with Juliana during my second pregnancy to help with pain during the third trimester. We then continued to work together for about 8 months postpartum. She put together a customized recovery plan that was fairly easy to maintain during the week, amidst work and childcare responsibilities. She also was responsive to any new pain or changes in pain that I brought up, and adjusted exercises to support those issues. I was able to improve my pain and build strength over the months we worked together, and would highly recommend her for pelvic floor PT!

After 3 C-sections and a weak core, I slipped a disc in my back. After having little success with a hospital-based PT, I sought out a pelvic floor/women’s PT specialist and came upon Dr Juliana Galante-Wiegman. I have been seeing her 1-2 times a week and her care is superlative and I have had significant improvement with my back and core. She listens carefully, is very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable.

My diagnosis of vaginismus was very challenging for me. It led to intense pain during penetrative sex and any internal gynecological procedures. Before starting with Juliana, I was often told by health care professionals that I should just breathe through the pain or figure out how to relax. Though it was unintentional, advice like this was harming and hurtful because I felt very stuck and lost about how to do this and what it meant. It led to a vicious cycle of anticipatory pain and me feeling like a failure.

Working with Juliana was completely different and incredible! She explained the importance of posture, breathing into certain positions, and the reasons for the tightening of my pelvic floor muscles. Her explanations were always logical, helpful, clear, and understandable. I gained a lot of knowledge, awareness, and clarity about my body which was so enlightening and empowering!

Managing challenges related to pelvic floor muscles, vaginismus, and pain during penetrative sex are sensitive topics and require a lot of vulnerability. I noticed that Juliana was especially kind, patient, and compassionate during our sessions which made me immediately comfortable when working with her. Her treatment plans were always collaboratively discussed, easy to follow and tailored to my needs.

Overall, there was a great improvement! I now feel more confident about my body and am able to implement the necessary skills and breathing techniques she taught me to reduce pain during sex and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

For anyone struggling with these issues, it does get better with the right care and support. It was an absolute pleasure having her as my PT, so I 100% recommend working with Juliana to help guide you through this process!

I am thrilled to share my experience with Juliana and the incredible impact she has had on my life. Her expertise and dedication in addressing my long-term chronic pain have been nothing short of life-changing.

From our very first session, it was evident that Juliana possesses an exceptional skill set and a deep understanding of the human body. She carefully assessed my condition and created a personalized treatment plan that targeted the root causes of my pain, rather than simply treating the symptoms.

What sets Juliana apart is her focus on empowering her clients to take control of their own well-being. She not only provided exceptional therapy during our sessions but also taught me techniques to change harmful patterns and habits that were contributing to my pain. Her guidance and support have allowed me to sustain long-lasting relief, without the need for frequent visits to the physical therapist.

Thanks to Juliana, I have experienced a significant improvement in my quality of life. I feel stronger, more flexible, and more confident in my ability to manage and prevent pain. Her holistic approach, combined with her genuine care for her clients, has made all the difference.

I wholeheartedly recommend Juliana to anyone seeking effective, long-term pain relief and a lasting change in their physical well-being. She is truly exceptional at what she does, and I am grateful to have found her.

I can’t say enough good things about Pacer Physical Therapy. Both Juliana and Vera are so knowledgeable and make talking about subject matter that can be considered pretty embarrassing a breeze! I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms, and have learned so much along the way!

A traumatic delivery of twins left me bed bound for weeks with the slowest progress to even be able to shower, get out of a chair or walk on my own.

My heart could barely contain the disappointment that my body had betrayed me in this way.

At my 6 week appointment, which I attended in a wheelchair, my doctor had little advice other than to start PT “when I felt ready.” I reached out to Juliana that same day.

She met me where I was at; saving my sanity by giving me realistic and intentional work to reconnect to my recovering body. I worked with her 1:1 until she proposed her Movin’ Moms group. In our classes, we pushed our minds and bodies towards our goals.

I was instantly seeing progress. I stopped leaking, my back stopped hurting, I could get off the ground while holding my babies. We aren’t even finished with the full program and I have crushed my short-term goals and am close to my long term.

Juliana is the absolute best! I began working with her about 4 months postpartum and she has made such a difference in my recovery. She individualized every session to suit my needs and helped me meet my monthly goals. She is motivating, encouraging, and truly caring. Your progress is her progress and she is very invested in making sure you feel your absolute best. Not only is she wonderful at what she does, she’s a great person. I would recommend Juliana to anyone looking to achieve their personal fitness goals. She is a lifesaver!

Juliana helped me return to running efficiently and SAFELY after having my first child. Postpartum recovery can include discussion on the intimate and unpleasant topics of motherhood; however, Juliana’s caring and professional demeanor made these topics easy to discuss. After frequent check-ins to adjust my program, I successfully returned to running without injury.

Juliana’s impressive competency in physical therapy, and frequent reminders to take my time, helped this restless mama get back into a routine and back into shape. I couldn’t recommend Pacer PT enough for anyone in need of rehabilitation, especially for moms going through their postpartum journey.

100/10 would recommend Dr. Jules to anyone working on getting back to full strength in a healthy and safe way! Previously to my c-section I was an avid runner and even competed at higher levels – but during my pregnancy I was unable to run. So when I had my daughter and I tried to figure out how to start up again… it was a total disaster! Enter Dr. Jules – she gave me the confidence to lift and eventually run. She was thorough and straightforward about my weaknesses and it was exactly what I needed. I can’t thank her enough.

I have had the most wonderful experience with both Vera and Jules. I did the Mommy & Me bootcamp while I was on maternity leave. It was so nice to connect with other moms while returning to exercise after giving birth. And it is one of the only places in Back Bay/South End that you can bring your baby along. I also did PT with Vera, and she is such a wealth of knowledge on all subjects. She is such a delight to work with and I look forward to our sessions.
